Not very funny.
Not sure if they came from Apple.
But shows how bad a commercial can be
PirateBay Plans to Buy Sealand and Become Own Country
Bittorrent tracker PirateBay.org, currently based in Sweden, plans to purchase the man-made island-country, Sealand, off the coast of the UK. Sealand is its own country, and the PirateBay would not be subject to the jurisdiction of any nations if it relocated to the island. TPB is seaking donations to help go through with this plan.
IPhone
A few days ago the IPhone came out. This is the long anticipated phone by Apple.
Features
As Apple says, “IPhone combines three products — a revolutionary mobile phone, a wide screen iPod with touch controls, and a breakthrough Internet communications device with desktop-class email, web browsing, maps, and searching — into one small and lightweight handheld device. IPhone also introduces an entirely new user interface based on a large multi-touch display and pioneering new software, letting you control everything with just your fingers. So it ushers in an era of software power and sophistication never before seen in a mobile device, completely redefining what you can do on a mobile phone. “
Bacically its has:
- An 4GB or 8GB widescreen IPod
- Its allows you to browse the web with safari, Apple’s web browser
- Get maps using Google Maps
- read your mail with Yahoo Mail (Surprise because they gmail is better and already a partner)
- Take Photos
- Look at Photos
- Get Widgets to look at stock, use a calculator, weather, take notes, and probably much more in the future
- And of course a phone
Down side (Cingular)
The carrier for the IPhone is Cingular some problems are price and broadband speed. Also in many country other than the US Cingular doesn’t have reception in more rural city’s.
Pricing
The IPhone is thought to be priced at $599 for the 4GB and $699 for the 8GB but nothing is official.
In conclusion, I will buy an IPhone when it comes out and I think it will be worth it.
P.S. Go to www.apple.com/iphone to see an interactive preview.

Also, if you purchace Skype Out you can make call anywhere in Canada and US for 14.99 for a year and after January 31 it will cost (I think) 24.99.
